import data

I have a ton of data we are migrating from an old asp system. We are going to import the data using one of the csv importer plugins that works with custom post types so it shouldnt be an issue. However, the question i have is what happens with the addresses of the locations in association with the google maps integration you have. When does it do the geocoding to find the lat and lon for the hidden fields the maps use? If it is imported, is there any way to initiate that as a batch or something?
