Implementation suggestions

Michael,
I have a couple of scenarios that I’d appreciate your implementation advise.
1)I have the need to do some batch processing on the database that I would like to automate within wordpress. For example I’d like to scan the database for duplicate addresses. What would be the best way to do this?
2)how I can delete a complete entry? Its very easy thru the WP console, but I’d like to do this programatically.
