Hi, noticed an error when I tried to upload these images, like “ME+U Men’s All Rounder Cricket Shoes – Left Side” to the web. I get an error saying: The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2,560 pixels. But when I try to upload the same image but with a different file name, it works. So I puzzled why this is happening.

Any idea how to fix this issue or a bug?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • WordPress may not upload files with special characters in the filenames, like the plus symbol or the apostrophe symbol. If you are uploading files, make sure to rename those files in order to not use these special characters. You can also try using a plugin that “sanitizes” or cleans the files you upload to the media library. You can find some of these plugins here:

    Kind regards,
    Jair.

Okay, just notice this: if I upload the image “ME+U Mens All Rounder Cricket Shoes – Left Side”, it goes through without getting any error, but when I was trying to upload “ME+U Men’s All Rounder Cricket Shoes – Left Side”, it shows it fails and I get an error.

Hi Jair, ah okay, that what issue is, thanks for that, will have to modify the file name. Also, think WordPress need add something like these special charcters not allowed than that error I recieved, would make it much more easy to understand why it had failed.

    Thanks for the clarification.
