Yes this plugin is older version. but when i update it lost my data. PLease help me wht I do to fix it
I see, you are using a very very very old version and after the update, you need to migrate data to be compatible with the latest version. Please check https://wordpress.org/support/topic/required-actions-after-you-update-to-v27-from-v26/
Also, you will not see the migrate tab with the latest version. As it is already more than 4 year we drop that tab too. You need to download 2.8.3 from here https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/download-manager.2.8.3.zip and migrate the data. After that, you are ready to update to the latest version.
But I do not want to update this because there are lots of data and categories that I have to work but tell me wht can be problem if it working fine for other types of files like pdf word etc it is only problem for image type file. If you can help me with existing plugin version so please help me even I have replace the code with new code in process.php file where all the files are processed. For image type file if there is any php config need so please let me know. But i do not want to update the plugin because data is huge.

We have fixed those issue and lots of other security bugs. Sorry, we don’t have any support for 5+ years old version.

Awesome. However, you should think about updating to the latest version to stay secure and compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
Yes Can update but there are lots of data we have uploaded and you guys do not designed the plugin in such way that all the data do not lost. Because when we update the plugin it lost my files that are uploaded.

The update will not erase your files, all data will be migrated, but you may have to update shortcode and reassign categories.
Yes i know this but why i have to do all things it should be done automatically even all plugins do this if they launch a new update. Why you guys do not do this. And i already told you there are lots of data that can not be possible.
