I don’t even know how to describe this. So, I’ve attached an image. Besides the visually obvious… the plugin seems to think I have not installed v5.2.2 of phpMyAdmin, which I have.

Combine this with a 1 hour session time out and the inability to get back in makes for a frustrating experience. Self inflicted, I’m sure.

    What is this issue called?

This is on a dedicated server running LiteSpeed (not hosting service).

I only need to give the ‘localhost’ access as only the WP phpMyAdmin extension should have access to phpMyAdmin.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Much thanks!

Is this page or plugin still being monitored/supported?

Due to the fact of near zero donations over these years, there was no strong interest to support this actively.

However, the 5.2.2 update was about to push (might be pushed soon).

Thank you for getting back to me, I appreciate it.

If we can remedy the above AND this issue: (happy to donate)

    "Session time (1 hours) expired.
Go back and click Enter phpMyAdmin button again. If you still experience issue, try to open a ticket at Support pages and provide some details."

    I’m using LiteSpeed web server.

ah, thank you for your contribution, nice gesture, but we are short of resources to provide individual support, so I can only help on the surface.

    1. to increase 1 hour limit (which is hardcoded) you can just open wp-content/plugins/wp-phpmyadmin/default_common_inc_code.php , line 45, and change 1 to 24 (or whatever hours you want). update of this plugin rarely happens, so you can once in a while edit that number after plugin updates
    2. New version was pushed (5.2.2.01), check that out

    3) the screenshot you shared, shows the sign of images loading failure. click F12, opens up console, then check and paste the screenshot of several 404 errors happening there (why files are not being loaded).

I suspect it might be https/ or whatever prolem

Thank you for the troubeshooting tips and the update.

Updating seems to have solved both problems, with one caveat…

"Your PHP parameter session.gc_maxlifetime is lower than cookie validity configured in phpMyAdmin, because of this, your login might expire sooner than configured in phpMyAdmin."

When the session expires, do you just log out of WordPress and back in?

it relates only to PMA, so logout from wordpress not needed. you just need to re-enter plugin’s page and click “Enter PhpMyaDmin”
