  • Hello @frenchomatic,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Seeing this being inserted but the script is a 404 . How to get rid of it.

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://stats.wp.com/w.js&#8221; id=”woo-tracks-js”></script>

    I understand your frustration about the script and the 404 error, but before we can dive deep into the issue, could we please share more details on where you came across the script from your WooCommerce store?

    This will help us in understanding the issue even better.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    I found the issue – settings -> advanced -> woo.com -> uncheck boxes.

    Basically, by agreeing to share statistics, that script gets fired but it gives a 404

    WordPress 6.4.4 , woocommerce 8.7.0

      }

    Hello @frenchomatic,

    I’m afraid I’m not following. I tried unchecking the boxes under WooCommerce settings > advanced > woo.com, but I’m still not able to replicate the issue.

    For easier visual understanding, kindly share with us a screencast (video recording) of the issue. You can use any video sharing software like loom.

    Looking forward to assisting you further.

    Just to note, sharing screenshots would be fine, also.

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
