    hi @jamhamweb ;
    it looks like the https-links are “hijacked” by Elementor, which turns them into something javascript-driven. not sure if there’s an option in Elementor for it _not_ to do that ?

    @jamhamweb Your example uses the Elementor Video Widget which stores and outputs the youtube links and embed code in a different way than WordPress itself, so the WP YouTube Lyte plugin can’t detect it.

    @jamhamweb You can add a “Text Editor” in elementor and copy only the YouTube URL there as text, then WordPress should embed the video.

    Or you add an “HTML” element in elementor and copy & paste the YouTube embed code with iframe etc. there.

    Then WP YouTube Lyte plugin can find and replace it.
