HTTP error upon uploading

    Some of my projects are facing media upload issues when WP Smush is activated. The strange thing is: not all environments, not always,… Is there another issue with the Yahoo services?

    I am using WP 4.6.1 & WP Smush 2.4.5 on a PHP 7.0.12 server.

    Hi @tsjemo,

    Can you temporarily switch off the “Automatically smush my images on upload” under Media -> WP Smush on your setup, so that Smush doesn’t affect the image upload in your site.

    I’ll test out the plugin on PHP 7 and see if it has to do anything with the latest PHP.

    Hi Umesh,

    I also got a possible solution via Twitter from WPMU Dev but actually I re-activated the plugin again to check and without changing anything at all, it was back to normal (PHP still is 7.0.12). So probably a temporary issue at the Yahoo servers or something? Anyway, happy again :o)

    @tsjemo, Just so you know it’s not Yahoo servers anymore, we’re running all the processing on our servers from more than a year now 😉

    And possibly yeah, a temporary glitch.
