I’ve got a CSS snippet where, after working on it for a couple hours. I refreshed the page and all of the “>” greater than signs were converted to their html entity “>”. And ampersands in comments were converted as well. Screenshot: https://cln.sh/GckCvXkY

Anyone else seen this? I’ve had it happen a couple times, but can’t reliably reproduce it. I’m using Code Snippets Pro v3.4.2.2 on a local site using the Local app

FYI – Have also had odd issues on Shortcode and JS snippets where line breaks are causing lines to get wrapped with paragraph tags. But I think it’s a different issue.

  • I’ve also seen this happen. It’s definitely a plugin issue. It happen after I tried to update a snippet with & in it.

    Hi @brandonjp,

Are you activating the CSS snippet within the Styles (CSS) tab, or within the PHP or HTML tabs?

If the first, you would have to ask to the premium support directly by mail (team@codesnippets.pro), since WordPress.org only allow using this forum to provide support to the free version.

If the latter, I have tried myself inyecting a CSS rule to the admin head, using the > sign without issues, so it is working well on my end.

Are you maybe using an outdated version?
