wp-super-cache is a caching plugin for front users (front page etc.), author chat is admin area plugin, maybe try to disable js wp-super-cache for author chat? Author Chat is really simple plugin that shouldn’t give you high cpu power usage. Also you may try to reinstall both plugins.
It’s a simple plugin, but when the number of instant visitors is 300, it starts to use a high processor. Our problem may not be just this plugin.
A unique plugin, we expect innovations 🙂
