Heavy and shaky

    Used to be a nice shopping plugin. Unfortunately, they are “developing” it. That means more extra plugins and less speed or light(ness), and every year is worse. WC nowadays is as heavy as the White man’s burden in liberals mind. Even a small shop requires some 30 plugins (and 12 horses) to keep the wagon on the move. Insane.

    Have to migrate. What a task… 🙁

    Can you elaborate on this? You say it “used to be nice” but now you need 30 plugins to keep it moving – features have not been removed over time so it sounds like adding things over time may have contributed to this? Maybe the wagon is overfilled and the wheels have fallen off 😛

    We’re focussing on performance of the core codebase and will be releasing some improved data structures this year. Stay tuned to the dev blog!
