I was initially using Elementor header for my website, but I encountered some issues due to excessive DOM elements. As a result, I decided to switch to the Astra header. However, after disabling the Elementor header and trying to enable the Astra header, I encountered difficulties. Despite reading through numerous documents and ensuring that I have the latest version of Astra (Version: 4.1.6), the Astra header still doesn’t seem to be functioning. The problem appears to be specifically with the header builder, as the Footer builder is working fine.

This issue persists across all pages, and I have verified that the header is enabled in the backend settings.

To help you understand the problem better, I’ve recorded a video showcasing the issue with the header builder not working.

I sincerely hope you can assist me with this problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Hi @vishwa1805,

The Header elements you added to the Header are not showing up. Is this happening on all the pages or only on a specific page? You mentioned about Elementor, so I was wondering if the page, where the Astra Header is not showing up, is using the Elementor Canvas Page Template.

Anyway, if what I mentioned above is not the case, please try reinstalling the Astra theme and see if it does the trick.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

    Hi @bsfherman,

Thank you for your reply, The header is not appearing on all pages. I have used the Full-Width Page template, not Elementor Canvas, in Elementor. Additionally, I’ve reinstalled the Astra theme and verified, but the issue persists. I even tried switching to a different theme, like Twenty Twenty, and in that theme, the header is displaying correctly.

I have identified the problem; it was due to a conflict with a plugin. After disabling the plugin, everything is functioning properly. Thank you for your assistance.

Good to know that you have figured it out, @vishwa1805!

Please mark this thread as Resolved and feel free to start a new thread if there is anything else related to Astra, we can help you with.

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊
