Guys, don’t bother.

I have used this plugin for years on multiple sites with very few issues. I upgraded to Pro and purchased the API plugin 2 days ago. I began by installing it on a client site who wanted sharing on Insta, LinkedIn, and a few other SM sites not supported in SNAP free. I got everything set up and used the SNAP API for Facebook. While the posts worked, the images were wrong. I know, I know. It’s all Facebook’s fault. But this was never an issue when using the free version. SNAP almost always worked perfectly.

I also installed it on a second site. In this case, the entire SNAP interface disappeared from my posts and pages on the back end. There is no longer any “Autopost to:….” option and the autposting is not working correctly for any of my configured accounts, even though they are setup properly using the main plugin menu settings. I have deactivated and reactivated. I have deleted and reinstalled. I have deactivated all other plugins. Nothing has worked.

Installing on a third site that uses a different theme and framework, I got it to work, but again pulling wrong images to Facebook, no image to Twitter, wrong image to Insta, no image to Tummblr….you get the idea. This has become garbage.

The absolute worst part is that this website RELIES on social media shares. I have opened a support ticket with NEXTScripts, I have posted to the forums, and I have sent a direct e-mail. Over 24 hours and absolutely NOTHING from the developer.

So, in summary, the free version worked fine for years, I pay them $100 for more functionality, and the app completely breaks and they do not offer one iota of support. I can’t even begin to describe how frustrating this is. I guess the safest thing to do is dispute the credit card charge, report this as fraudulent, and search for a better app. Very, very, very disappointing.
