Hi:
There are two ways to create a guest login page but both are premium options.
The first way is the simplest – our GUEST TICKETS add-on. It allows the user to enter an email address and then immediately takes them to the ticket page. But, in the background it will create a user acccount. So, if they need to submit a second ticket later, they will have to login. (https://getawesomesupport.com/addons/guest-tickets/)
The second way is more flexible but requires more work to get started. You can create a custom ticket form using GRAVITY FORMS (gravityforms.com) and then map the data to our ticket system using our GRAVITY FORMS BRIDGE. With this option, even though a user is created every time, you can set things so that the user is automatically logged in with just their email address. It takes some time to learn how to set this all up but gives you the most flexibility. Learn more about this option here: https://getawesomesupport.com/addons/gravity-forms/
Thanks.

Thanks for the Gravity Forms info. I believe it’ll do the trick. I guess what I really want to know is, if anyone creates a Guest Ticket will it allow them to access the My Account page on the site for now on? If yes, is there a way to create a Guess Ticket account which only allows access to support tickets and nothing else until they become an actual paying customer and register an account as such?
Hi:
hmmm…we don’t have a MY ACCOUNT screen.
Users who register through our registration pages get a role called SUPPORT USER. This is a regular wordpress user role with additional security options enabled to give them access to our ticket pages.
If the plugin that provides the MY ACCOUNT screen allows you to restrict that screen by role or capability then you should be able to do whatever you want there.
Thanks.
