Gravity Forms and Groups

Hi, I am using Groups to limit users access to site admin and its all working great. I have something different now and not sure how I can accomplish it. Its hard to explain, but let me try.
I have a custom post type called “member profiles” created with Custom Post Type UI. Each post entry has a field called “notify_email” that is used in a gravity form for notifiction purpose. So, when an user fills out the form I have all the member profiles listed as checkboxes and on submission with a filter I am notifying the chosen member profiles. All those “member profile” entries are assigned to Groups, so is there a way when user submits certain “member profiles” on the form the form entry to be assigned to those groups as well? I would like the wp users assigned to the groups that can see their “member profiles” to also see only the form entries they have been assigned to as well?
