Does the free version of this plugin allow Gravity Forms AJAX and multi-step forms to submit correctly, but without the honeypot? Or do those forms stop working completely with the free version installed?

The extended versions says it functions with “Gravity Forms (For Ajax Based and Multi Step Forms – gravityforms.com)”, but it doesn’t clarify how this works when using the free version.

    Thanks a ton.

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for your question! The free version of WP Armour can cause submission issues with Gravity Forms when using AJAX and multi-step forms. To avoid these problems, you’ll need to either disable AJAX submission or remove the multi-step functionality while using the lite version.

For full compatibility with AJAX and multi-step forms, the extended version of WP Armour is recommended.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Best regards,
    Dinesh

    That’s helpful. Thanks Dinesh.

    Two more questions for you:

    • Is your plugin compatible with the honeypot added by Gravity Forms? Is it okay to have both activated at the same time?
    • It looks like the extended version includes 100 websites. What’s the process if you need to cover more?

    Hi Jonathan,

Glad to hear that was helpful!

    To answer your questions:

    1. Yes, our plugin is compatible with the honeypot added by Gravity Forms. However, using our built-in honeypot should be sufficient on its own. That said, it’s perfectly fine to have both activated at the same time if you prefer an extra layer.
    2. The Extended version covers up to 100 websites. If you need to cover more, you’ll need to purchase an additional license. We’ve discontinued the unlimited site license as of January 1st, 2025.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Best regards,
    Dinesh
