    Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to change the color of the overlay in the carousel. I feel that it is a little bit too dark and was wondering if it would be possible to create my own overlay to add a pattern or an image for example. I saw that the overlay is managed by Jetpack and it is not hosted on my server. Could we have the option in the settings page to change the overlay color, transparency or image file?

    Also, I found a bug. When using the right arrow, everything is fine and it goes slide to slide and story to story, but when you use the left arrow, it jumps from one story to the other at the same level down the slides. For example, if you are slide 5 of story 1 and use the left arrow, it will bring you to the next story on slide 5 instead of going slide by slide or to the beginning of the story. This is a problem I think, especially when readers are not so computer savvy.

    Also, there is a contextual background color with regular slides but no contextual background with videos. Is it something you are going to do in the future?

    I found another bug. On some phones, the poster image is not centered. On my Galaxy Note 9, the poster image is half to the right. I tried it with a Sonim and it was the same, half the image is off the screen when it shows on the carousel.

    Another issue is with the sound. After I watch 2 stories, the 3rd and 4th have no sound. I tried on several devices and it was the same, no sound after 2 stories. I was hopping that people would let the music go and let the music switch track itself when the story changes, so that if they select to have the music on, it would remain on all the time. Here also, when changing story, the sound goes to mute what can be annoying. I hope you can fix all those bugs, because it is a great plugin.

    I’m going to answer your questions one by one as follows, and thanks for the kudos abour the plugin! We love that you are enjoying it 🙂

    I would like to know if there is a way to change the color of the overlay in the carousel.

    Carousel does not offer direct options within the settings page to change the overlay color, transparency, or use a custom image for the overlay. However, you can achieve customization via CSS, whose support is outside our scope for this forum.

    You can add CSS to your theme stylesheet, or to your custom CSS editor available under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS in your dashboard. If you are not familiar with CSS, I would recommend this tutorial.

    I can’t find any known bug reported that looks similar to this one. Would you mind creating a GitHub report for our developers to inspect? Please share as many details as possible, steps to reproduce the issue, and any PHP or JavaScript error logs you find.
