Hi @crowe,
Thanks for getting in touch!
I’d be happy to work with you to address any concerns you might have when it comes to breaking down or slowing down your site. The Site Kit plugin is a admin panel-operated plugin, so the plugin itself shouldn’t have any impact on your site’s performance on the front-end.
I took a look at the PageSpeed Insights report for your site and I’m seeing this script listed under the render-blocking resources section. This is not a script from Site Kit and appears to be coming from the Optimole plugin.
Can you confirm that you’re seeing the same thing in your PSI report, and can you confirm that you’re using the Optimole plugin?
Thanks!

Thank you for your help!
Yes, I’m also looking into why the Optimole script is render blocking, but when I run the Lighthouse report using the Inspect feature within Chrome, I get what can be seen in the these two screen captures:
screen grab 1
screen grab 2
Thanks again!
@crowe Ah, thanks for clarifying!
Connecting Google services to your site via Site Kit (like GTM and Analytics) is no different to manually implementing these services, independent of Site Kit. This means that unfortunately I can’t be much help here, as any behavior that’s impacting load times would be coming directly from that service.
One thing to consider would be taking a look at the behavior you’ve set for your tag loading in GTM to control when and what tags are fired. If you’d like some help with that, I’d suggest checking out Tag Manager support.
Let me know if you have any other questions about Site Kit. Thanks!
