Hello @maxer036,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Can you please share the URL of your website and a screenshot of the error that you are getting in your GSC account so we can check and assist you further? You can use a tool like https://imgbb.com/ to share the screenshots.
Looking forward to helping you.
U don’t need to apologise. I m using Rank Math on other sites width no problems what so ever. It is a great plugin.
Here is the link:
https://divingnekretnine.rs/Error:
Hello @maxer036,
We can check that the URL that you have shared is redirecting to https://divingnekretnine.rs/agencijavb/ which is the subfolder where you have installed WordPress.
The other two URLs are HTTP and the non-trailing slash variations of the https://divingnekretnine.rs/agencijavb/ and they should be redirected to it.
These URLs are not part of the sitemap and shouldn’t be submitted to your GSC account. Can you please confirm if you have submitted them manually?
If you don’t want https://divingnekretnine.rs/ to be redirected to https://divingnekretnine.rs/agencijavb/ then please get in touch with your host as they will be able to help you fix this. Otherwise, you can simply ignore the errors.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Hi, sorry i m little late with my response.
I have removed all properties and added them again (screenshot) as stated in GSC help page. However errors persist.
Sitemaps are ok.
This is permanent redirect in cpanel.
No force https redirect
Lighthouse doesn’t shows any errors. I just dont know what is the problem!
I have other sites with same config with no redirect errors. I can’t ignore the errors because Google doesn’t index my home page.
Hello @maxer036,
As your installation is in the sub-folder and the root URL redirects to the sub-folder, Google will always have a redirection to go through to reach the website, and thus you will see the redirect error.
You should verify the sub-folder URL with the prefix in your Google Search Console account so that there are no redirections in-between. Please add a new property with the sub-folder URL (the preferred HTTPS version) and see if that fixes the issue.
Let us know how that goes.
I verified the sub-folder URL its crawlable but after a month and a half no pages are indexed except manually submited pages. Also it says “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” but these pages are in rank math sitemaps and sitemaps are ok according to GSC:
Hello @maxer036,
Indexed, Not Submitted in Sitemap, it is not an issue, it only means that Google has already indexed the posts/pages but not through the sitemap.
It is possible that Google is crawling and indexing the post through the internal links on your website and not through the sitemap, and as a result, the crawl budget for your website is exhausted and Google is not able to discover the URLs through your sitemap.
You can also check the coverage section of your GSC account and see if there are any errors for the discovered URLs. Or you can use the URL inspection tool to check the status of your submitted URLs and share the result with us here.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi all,
I think I have the same issue. I’n getting a message from Google Search Console which says: ‘Top critical issues – Critical issues prevent your page or feature from appearing in Search results. The following critical issues were found on your site: Redirect error’

I’m not that brilliant with these kind of things and basically just using basic WordPress options. Every other page is fine, just the homepage is not indexed by Google. It doesn’t make sense to me.
What should I do? Because I have read the above, but that’s like Chinese to me… š
Hello @mariomiskovic,
Please make sure that the same property you have registered on Google Search Console matches exactly the variation of your website (HTTPS and non-www).
Also, check if you have some kind of redirection adding or removing a trailing slash to the URLs on your website as that can cause redirection issues sometimes if the indexed page was with a different variation than the current one.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
