    Hello Thomas
    thank you so much.
Just wanted to ask if I did it correctly. I have created an in-feed ads
and in advanced ads I selected the position on sidebar.
then went on sidebar I selected the ad I have created.
    is it the right way?

    thanks a lot
    cheers

    Hi isa1978,

AdSense introduced the in-Feed ads to be implemented between posts on overview pages like your home page. So it might not show up (properly) in a widget.

In order to place the ad between posts you can use the also free AdSense In-feed add-on. It will add a new placement to Advanced Ads > Placements where you can select the ad and the post after which to place the ad.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Hello Thomas,
thanks for getting back to me, I am kind of lost.

You mention that the infeed is not for sidebars, but then you say

” In order to place the ad between posts ”

I don’t need to place the ads between posts, but in the sidebar.
if the infeed is not suitable, which one shall I use?

thanks a lot for you kind help
    cheers

    Hi Isabella,

in this case, just use a standard content ad unit, like a 300×250 Medium Rectangle or the Responsive ad.

You don’t need to create a new AdSense unit in your account to test it. Just create a new AdSense ad in Advanced Ads, leave the “AdSense Slot ID” and code field empty, choose “Normal” as a type and enter 300×250 as size attributes. Then publish the ad and see what happens.

    hi thomas,
nothing changed, it shows as it was showing before with in feed …
but If i don’t insert the ads id code how can the system recognize that I want that ADS in that place?

i am kind of confused ..

    thanks
