Hi @gerold1968,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing detailed information about the issue you’re experiencing. From the error message you’ve shared, it appears that the issue might be due to Stripe’s deprecation of the Sources API. Stripe now recommends using the Payment Intents API for new integrations.
If you’re using Stripe via a third-party plugin, it’s possible that the plugin might not have been updated to use the new API. Could you please confirm if you’re using a third-party plugin for Stripe? If so, could you also let us know the version of the plugin you’re currently using?
In addition to Giropay, are there any other payment methods that are not working as expected?
To better understand your setup, could you please share the full System Status Report? You can find it in your site’s back-office by heading to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Download for support. You can then attach it to your reply.
Also, could you please provide screenshots of the following pages:
- WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe
- WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe > Settings
This information will help us diagnose the issue more accurately. You can find more information on how to get the System Status Report here.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi, found out what happended in the meantime: giropay-payments don´t work with the legacy checkout. Using the new checkout experience it works.
…but sadly opens the gate for new problems… see my other thread on this forum: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translations-not-working-since-update-to-8-1-0/
