Geo Blocking?

    Just wondering if GEO blocking will every be added to Shield Security or if that’s not planned.

    Hi Brandon,

    Many thanks for your question.

    We’re sorry but we don’t do IP blocking by geo/country location and we do not plan to add this.

    Geo/country blocking is based on IP addresses and is not entirely accurate.

    We use our automated IP manager (Automatic IP Black List system) instead. It tracks bad behavior over a set period of time and as soon as it reaches the threshold, the Shield blocks it.

    Thanks for the reply Jelena. Is the automatic IP block list system part of the free and pro version, or just pro?
