Gallery/album plugin to import from phpBB

    We have a phpBB-powered forum, with a large gallery of photos organised into albums, sub-albums etc. That gallery mod is probably not going to survive an upgrade in phpBB, so I’m looking to recreate that gallery on our WP site. So far WP Photo Album Plus looks good for being able to set up an album structure & import photos via FTP, but I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a plugin that will actually talk to the phpBB Gallery mod and import both structure and photos.

    I did a quick search of the plugin directory for phpBB plugins, and it doesn’t look like there’s anything there that might help.

    That being said, I’m sure it’s possible to achieve what you want using a custom plugin, you just might need to pay a freelance developer to build it for you.

    If you’re interested in hiring someone to build this for you, you could try posting the job on https://jobs.wordpress.net/. Alternatively, you could use a freelancing service of your choosing.

    Thanks for that – even if it just confirmed that there isn’t a ready-made solution to my problem.
