Free Version barely usable

We understand your concern, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us. The Prevent Direct Access Free version is designed to provide basic file protection for simple use cases. Its main purpose is to allow only the author of an uploaded file or the administrator to access that file, and to help protect it from being accessed by unwanted users through direct links.

The free version also provides most of the core features, such as protected files and private links with expiry date and expiry time. However, it has some limitations compared with the PDA Gold version, which offers more advanced options and additional user roles such as logged-in users and custom role users.
