I’ve been receiving fraudulent e-mails from a certain [ name and email deleted ] asking me to pay for this pluggin:

    [ Email deleted too ]

    What do you say?
    ———————————————————————————–
Since it’s stated repeatedly everywhere that the pluggin is free, this has to be a scam. Posting this here so you can do something about it, and to warn other people NOT to send money if you receive that type of fraudulent e-mail.

    Hello!

Thank you for using Trinity Audio and for reaching out.

The Trinity Audio plugin is indeed free, but as mentioned, with limits. In case where a publisher is generating more than the assigned credit, new posted content will not have the audio player. The already-generated posts will always have the audio player (as long as it is enabled) though.

For that reason Lisa reached out to you as she offer you the option to move to a paid plan with more credits.

I truly apologize that it was not clear and we will work internally to make sure our messages and plugin description are clearer.

    Best regards,
    Trinity Audio

I see, so you’re basically lying to people by telling them that the plugin is free. Nowhere is there any mention of paying anything; FREE is FREE. It says so in your plugin description (in capital letters on top of that) AND in your video. You’re being intentionally dishonest and misleading about it. Shame on you.

Furthermore, by trying to reply to the e-mail, I received another fraudulent e-mail from [ email deleted ] asking me send them sensitive information about my account. Something is definitely fishy here and I’m going to dig deeper into this.

To anyone reading this: do NOT send these people money. They are either manipulating you on purpose, or scamming you. I also have a suspicion that they are not who they appear to be. So much for Trinity Audio.

@maximehenx I’m closing this topic and I have archived your review.

Do not use these forums to attack people. If you need volunteer support from this developer then ask for support. This isn’t a support request. From the very first sentence you are making an attack.

If you are being sent unsolicited email from this plugin developer then you can report that to the plugins team via plugins[at]wordpress.org
