Formatting problem
-
Thanks for awesome plugin. My site went from taking over 12 seconds to load down to only two seconds.
I wanted to compare exact times of your plugin to Autoptimize & Cache Enabler. So, I deactivated WP-Roids to test, then when I reactived WP-Roids (after deactivating Autoptimize & Cache Enabler) my site looked like the CSS files and formatting were gone. As soon as I deactivated the plugin the formatting returned to normal.
I would like to make a donation to the project as soon I get it running on my sites.
Thank you!

Those two plugins leave a directory named
cachein yourwp-contentfolder, even after deletion, but shouldn’t cause a problemI have JUST released v1.2 of WP Roids and mimicked your tests on a fresh WP install…

Hello,
I updated the plugin and now my site is now throwing a 403 error in Microsoft Edge and some formatting errors in Chrome.
If I deactivate WP-Roids then the site works again. When I test the site in https://varvy.com/pagespeed/ is says that there are no external CSS, images or javascript files which is not correct.
Please advise…
I really need some help here getting my site back online.
I restored my site and deleted the plugin. I think your plugin is going to be excellent, but it needs to be tested more. Please let me know when it is fixed.
Somewhere between activating and deactivating the other plugins and yours to test the differences, it ruined my formatting and eventually caused a 403 error. After deleting the plugin, it was still caching the pages where the formatting was broken.
Just released 1.3.3 which covers a lot of issues
Let me know how it goes…
Remember to clear your browser history too 😉
I appreciate your enthusiasm for my plugin
You have seen a glimpse that it DOES do well
I ask you try the latest version, and note the new debug suggestions on the plugin homepage
With your help we can make others’ sites faster…
I tried yesterday’s version. Is that the latest, or have you since upgraded?
Have you identified what was causing the 403 and formatting errors? I would like to try it again. And if it does work as desired I am happy to contribute to the project.
Please let me know what you identified as the problem
Nah, there’s a new version (1.3.5) released a couple of hours ago
It adds a fix regarding inline comments in javascript, though I’ve since spotted glitch in Twitter Bootstrap JS where it issues the
use strictcommandI also tweaked commands on all plugin updates & theme switching to purge and check compatibility
I couldn’t replicate the 403 error, will try in IE back to v.9/10
Are you running Linux & Apache? Any other funky server tools?
Did you give me a list of your active plugins? Have you tried with Twenty Seventeen theme?
Thanks for your continued interest, I REALLY appreciate it
@wplms @philmeadows I’ve deleted the offer and email for logging into the users site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly accepting credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site should not be one of them.
- Ask for a link to the http://pasetbin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
- Ask the user to create and post a link to their
phpinfo();output. - Ask the user to install the Send System Info plugin and get the data that way.
- Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
- Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins except yours, switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
@wplms V2 is out now! It has many improvements
Make sure you deactivate and reactivate!
This is to reformat
.htaccess@wplms V2.1+ deals with issues created by Visual Composer, which your site at https://www.elearningdirectory.com uses
P.S. Your menu links do not work
Hi Philip,
I installed WP-Roids today on another site of mine and it crashed the site with a 503 error.
The good news is that the backend of my site was still operational. Only the front end was giving the 503 error.
I am happy to contribute financially to your plugin if you can get it working reliably.
