Form disappeared, only shortcode displays

    For some reason my form as disappeared on my right column and only the shortcode — [yikes-mailchimp form=”1″] displays. The form has been working fine for a few years and now suddenly this has happened.

    Can you please recommend a workaround?

    Barry,

    Can you also make sure your form still exists (go to the Easy Forms page and make sure you still have form ID 1)?

    You can also try adding the shortcode to a test page/post to see if it works in there. It might be the widget that you’re using isn’t executing shortcodes. This would isolate the problem to the widget rather than the shortcode.

    We also have an Easy Forms widget that you could use instead of using the shortcode inside a text widget. Have you tried the Easy Forms widget?

    Great! Glad that’s resolved. The easy forms widget is generally better to use than the shortcode in a text widget anyway 🙂
