Folder name change after password proection

    I have installed the plug-in and it works fine. However I also want to password protect my admin directory folder. When I do that via cPanel it asks me to rename my admin folder as a different folder name.

    Once done the WPS plugin can’t redirect to the new login page since it does not know the new folder name.

    I assume there is a place in the WPS setting to enter the new admin folder name but I can’t find it.

    No, I don’t recommend putting an htpasswd on your wp-admin folder and / or renaming it.

    Change its URL + plugin disable xmlrpc, that will be more than enough.
