    I have heard that Firebase from Google gives 10,000 sms a month free – and more – can one not use this as a Gateway – this way – there is no need to pay for the Gateway.
    Pls advise.

    Hi,

    This is supported with our Firebase Authentication plugin where you can login into WordPress using Firebase credentials, login with Firebase OTP and other options.

    You can find our plugin here https://wordpress.org/plugins/firebase-authentication/

    I’m a bit confused in the process, do we have to use both Plugins to be able to use Firebase as the gateway with OTP?

    Hi Anthony,

    You won’t need 2 plugins.

    With Firebase authentication plugin you can setup this. Right now this is supported only in premium version of the Firebase plugin.
