Featured image not working

    Hi,

    I like the idea of this plugin but its not working for me.

    My posts all have featured images. And my RSS feed has images > http://thegreenhouseoforange.com.au/feed/

    Here is the code I’m using in mailchimp…

    *|FEEDBLOCK:http://thegreenhouseoforange.com.au/feed/|*
    *|FEEDITEMS:[$count=3]|*
    *|FEEDITEM:IMAGE|*
    *|FEEDITEM:TITLE|*
    *|FEEDITEM:DATE|*
    *|FEEDITEM:CONTENT_FULL|*
    *|END:FEEDITEMS|*
    *|END:FEEDBLOCK|*

    Any help would be appreciated. I’m using the free version and love to upgrade and use the extended features but need to see it working first.

    Hi Ben,

    Sorry for the delay.

    The Media Tag option is needed to use FEEDITEM:IMAGE, it pulls in the MEDIA portion of the RSS feed, without it enabled there’s nothing to pull in.

    With the free version of the plugin, if you build your Mailchimp template using RSSITEMS and then RSSITEM:TITLE and RSSITEM:CONTENT_FULL, it should work without needing the media tag enabled, because the image is prepended to the RSS Description block, which RSSITEM:CONTENT_FULL is based on.
