You’ll need to be specific about which posts you are refering to – bc I can’t find a post on your site that displays the featured image,
i.e.
https://prasadradhika.wordpress.com/2020/07/25/wolfram-summer-school/
See “Diffraction Project”
How do I attach a screenshot here?
Yes, you are right, there is no featured image in wordpress.com (prasadradhika.wordpress.com). But there is featured image appearing in wordpress.org (prasadradhika.in). I want the same feature, ie, I want to remove the featured image in the posts, but I want them to show up in the blog lists.
What is displayed is up to your theme’s templates. In most themes, a different template is used for single posts or blog listings. Template code could be altered to use or not use featured images as preferred in each case. When you alter theme template code, it’s best to keep altered templates in a child theme.

@rpiitcbme Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Developing with WordPress topic. Please stop asking theme specific topics in the Developing with WordPress sub-forum.
I’ve also archived your duplicate topic. Please do not make duplicates again as it makes it harder to support you.
You’re seeking support in the wrong place. This is the theme you are using. It’s a nice theme.
https://wordpress.org/themes/baskerville/
This is where you should be asking, also ask there about creating and using a child theme.
https://wordpress.org/support/theme/baskerville/
https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/
The reason you should ask there instead is because you are asking questions specific to your theme. That area is the best for Baskerville specific questions such as about featured images and child themes of that theme.
