    WordPress.org Admin

This type of error usually appears when you have performed an incomplete upgrade.

Do a manual upgrade. Download a fresh copy of WordPress and install it manually.

    Same problem with me

    I have same problem

You must upgrade wordpress manually and it’s working. I just did it and it’s ok.

Same problem here. I upgraded manually and it works again.

Today in morning, I saw there was wordpress update. Then I clicked on updated and it was updating. After some time I saw this message on the screen –

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_get_user_request_data() (previously declared in /home/u342059081/domains/contactyourmind.com/public_html/wp-includes/user.php:3700) in /home/u342059081/domains/contactyourmind.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/deprecated.php on line 1578

My website is working fine, but I am not able to enter the dashboard. I cannot enter this page – http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin

Do anyone have same issue? What can we do about this problem?

Same here, happened during upgrade to version 5.4.0 .

Just hit back to admin url, database upgrade was separately requested (never happened before, though), hit it and seems all good so far.

Updating manually works, bit of a pain but oke… Thanks for the help.

When I try to update I get the reaction: ! The web application selected is already running the latest version.

    What can we do?
