Fatal error, cannot continue

    I am getting the following error in the stylesheet:

    Fatal error, cannot continue: null is not an object (evaluating ‘this._expr(e).text’)

    Any ideas?

    This error is shown when I go into the Theme Editor and edit style.css.

    The message is shown at the bottom of the document just above the ‘Update File’ option. The only way to save the document is to choose the checkbox that says: “Update anyway, even though it might break your site?”

    @johnwm That sounds like an error in the Theme Editor rather than the theme files. You could try using another browser, in case it’s a compatibility issue in the Theme Editor JavaScript code with the browser you’re using.

    You can also try deactivating the plugins on your site and then visiting the Theme Editor again, in case the JavaScript error is caused by a conflict with a plugin.
