    Hi,

I was updating a few plugins and got a fatal error:

Een fout van het type E_ERROR trad op op lijn 122 in het bestand /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/aaa-option-optimizer/src/class-plugin.php. Foutmelding: Uncaught Error: Maximum call stack size of 8339456 bytes (zend.max_allowed_stack_size – zend.reserved_stack_size) reached. Infinite recursion? in /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/aaa-option-optimizer/src/class-plugin.php:122

Could not recover and had to install a backup of my site

    Hi @vantuykomn,

We’re very sorry this happened, and thanks a million for reporting the problem to us.
We’ve identified the cause and created a fix. We’ll release that asap.

Maybe helpful for the future, if a plugin causes an error, you can remove or rename the plugin folder via FTP/file manager, and that will also disable the plugin. That saves you the hassle of installing a full backup.

    Hi Taco,
renaming is my first goto solution, but this did not work in this case. Also I was not able to login with safe-mode.

Thanks for looking in to this

    Hey @vantuykomn,
That’s slightly surprising, and very unfortunate. Hopefully it didn’t set you back too much!

We’ve now released the fix for this bug, so it should not happen again.

    Thanks again for reporting.
