Execute shortcodes

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    Is there a trick to getting shortcodes to execute in custom sidebars? I’ve tried a few things, but shortcodes in widgets that are included in custom sidebars are never processed.

    Hello there @majorrobot,

    hope you’re doing good today! 🙂

    Just tested a little Hustle shortcode, inside a Text element, using the Text editor, and worked just fine.

    Can you give this a try like this and see how that goes?
    If you’re already doing this, which plugin and shortcode are you trying to use?

    Sorry for the delay! It took a little while to work things out. The issue I was seeing had to do with the widgets themselves and not Custom Sidebars. (It was very confusing because the shortcodes appeared to work / not work inconsistently.)
