It looks like there’s been two security updates to this plugin since it was “closed”, 0.8.7 and 0.8.8:

Can you please give an update about when the users of this plugin can expect an update? Plugin reviews rarely take more than 7 days (often much less). If you haven’t heard back from the review team, please check your email and make sure you replied to their instructions. They just told me there isn’t a plugin with a security issue waiting for a reply at the moment.

Either they’ll fix the plugin acceptably or they won’t. Yelling at them and telling them they should check their spam folder isn’t going to help.
