Error with SSL

    This error is due to assets not being loaded via https. I fixed this on Github https://github.com/BandonRandon/feedwordpress

    I also submitted a Pull Request to the author.

    Looking at the fixes in github, those appear related to loading the admin via https; not necessarily the issue with CURL connection on a https hardened site pushing XML feed.

    Two different issues folks are dealing with
    a) issue with loading the plugin via https in admin
    b) issue with pulling https feeds into FeedWordPress

    The github fix seems related only to “a” and not “b”

    We are now running into this issue as of today after major security updates to server when trying to pull feeds via https:

    HTTP request failure

    SSL connect error

    HTTP Transport:
    1.string(12) “WP_HTTP_curl”
