Error with 8.0.0. payments

We might be having the same issues since 8.0.0 was release 3-4 days ago. I hijacked another post about this yesterday 🙂
Why is the Mollie plugin always giving troubles with updates? When is there created a stable version. It’s always giving problems after updates.
I confirm we have the same problem on several of our customers sites.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue on my side. If you are able to actively reproduce this, could you please explain the steps followed to recreate the issue?
Could you also please confirm if you have any disabled or hidden fields on the checkout page?
Also Please confirm if you have the Block Checkout or the Classic checkout.We would also need a copy of your WooCommerce system report and your latest Mollie plugin log files.

The issues only seem to happen for some manually created orders. Previously, we were able to send a payment request/order to a customer with just the emailadres present in the billing info, or even without any information and passing along the URL ourselves, but now only payments seems to go through from order that were done by the customer themselves. Since the order process requires all the fields, they do not seem to have an issue with the requirement that Mollie now seems to have.
I have no hidden fields, and I think we’re using the block checkout.

Thanks for noting this is occurring with manual orders @peeetr. That is important to know. I will let you know as soon as there is an update from the developers.
For now, we recommend downgrading to the previous version of the plugin (7.1.0), as you’ve already done, while our developers continue to investigate the issue introduced in version 8.0.0.

Femi.Hello, this is not only with manual orders. We proces an order every minute and this happens with about 5-10% of the orders. I have confirmed this with several other customers who face the same problem.
Reverting back to 7.10 solved the problem for now.
I see these errors in the logs but I’m not sure they are related to this problem.

It looks like the API is requiring some fields to be present, which they were not before, and the documentation also confirms that. I’ll roll back to 7.1 for now too. Curious about the cause of the issue 🙂
We have the same issue on groepsspellen.nl. So we did a back up to 7.10.0. So we would really want to know when the issue is solved.
Just terrible service ! Problem has been identified almost a month ago (see github) but no fix or update has been done or made available.
