I have built my website using hostinger.

I was trying to edit my widgets from Appearance >widgets. But everytime I do so, it shows an error (“There was an error. Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘endpoints’)”). The same error appears even when I try to edit from another browser, different devices, and even after clearing my browser cache.

    Please help.

P.S. I have also tried editing from Appearance > Customize > Widgets. The same error persists

  • Can you first try disabling all plugins temporarily and try again?

Enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Hi.

Thank you for your suggestion, and did as you suggested. I deactivated all my plugins and tried to update my widgets again.

But it did not work. The error still persists.

Did you try changing the theme and enabling debug, too?

I am still unable to edit Widgets from Appearance > Widgets, but I can from Appearance > Customize > Widgets. Thank you.

But I’d like help with something else. At the main header, where various social media icons are placed, from where can I link my socials with them?

On the server side, you can use debug mode as described by @sterndata above to see if there is a reason for this.

However, I suspect that the problem lies with your browser. Have you tried using a completely different browser? You may have an add-on in your browser that is interfering with this.

If that’s not the case, please do the following:
Activate a standard theme such as TwentyTwentyFive.
    Deactivate all plugins.
Does it work now? If not, then it must be due to data in your project that was probably saved incorrectly. Cleaning this up could be more difficult.
However, if it works with this configuration, then one of the components you used before was to blame.

You just copied your post from the day before yesterday – I already wrote something about it above. Do you have any feedback on that?

    Yes. It helped.

    Thank you.
