Error when updating/installing

When I tried to update this plugin this morning, I received an error message that download failed. I tried another couple of times, but the error remained, after which I decided to deinstall the plugin completely and try to reinstall it. Unfortunately, that’s also not possible due to the same error message:

Download mislukt. error:0D0C50A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:unknown message digest algorithm

Can someone help me?
