A site visitor using a Mac and Safari says he received an error saying the captcha wasn’t entered correctly but he didn’t see a captcha. The form works OK for me using Windows but not on iOS, I see the same error and no captcha.

    Hi @crazytech1

Thanks for using Caldera Forms Anti Spam.

I’m sorry to hear about this issue, I tried loading your site via iOS Safari and it loaded over http and didn’t redirect to https. Would you mind forcing the HTTPS redirection on your site via htaccess/host or a WordPress plugin and let me know if this issue persists?

I’m not sure if this would interfere with form submissions. I am going to send a test on Safari and see if I can replicate the issue.

I just ran a test over HTTPS and it works as intended. Please let me know if this helps on your end too.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your quick reply and for your plugin. You may have found a hole in my SSL and www redirects. I think I have SSL now in all the possible combinations and pages.

I’ve checked my screenshot from last night’s failure and it shows SSL. I’ve tried this morning with Safari, iOS and SSL and I still get a red error message: The captcha wasn’t entered correctly followed by Reset in a black font.

Please can you clear your cache?

I am going to run tests on my Mac using Safari shortly. Did you receive my test submission that I tried via iPhone/Safari?

Sorry for the delay, I’m not receiving emails from the forum when you reply. I cleared the server cache. Yes, I received your form using iOS and Safari but it didn’t work when I tried using an iPhone.

Please see screenshot, tested on MacOS with Safari and shows that it was successfully sent.
