    Hello,
    I cannot update the db:

Oops, something has gone wrong and we couldn’t complete the optimization of your SEO data. Please click the button again to re-start the process.

Yoast test helper plugin did not help.

There are no js errors in console.

Can you please provide working solution?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

We understand the SEO Data button is not working correctly. We would like some more information to help us rule out or in some things.

    1. Can you confirm your server has all the right requirements?  If you are not sure, speak to your host provider. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/plugin-requirements/.

    2. We had another recent release. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v15.2.1? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    3. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5.3? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    4. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    Hello,
yes, I have all plugins up to date. WordPress is also updated. My server has all needed requirements.

    Hi,

Based on the information provided in the previous replies, it sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please Check for conflicts. Install the Healthcheck plugin and enable troubleshooting. Then switch to a standard theme like 2020. Does the issue resolve? NOTE: This will not affect how users see your site.

If there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
