    After years of operation, we can no longer connect JetPack to our site. Over the past month, we had some odd errors associated with JetPack like missing authors on pushed emails and missing posts on Facebook. In an attempt to correct the issues, we disconnected JetPack. Since then, we get a variety of error messages including:

    Jetpack: [verify_secrets_mismatch] Secret mismatch
    Jetpack: [invalid_grant] Error Details: Invalid authorization_code.

    When running this test:

    https://jetpack.wordpress.com/jetpack.testsite/1/?url=http://oursite.com/xmlrpc.php

    We get:

    {“error”:”Can not resolve your domain \”A record\””,”error_description”:”We were unable to resolve the A record for your domain. It is likely that you have recently registered your domain name. It takes several hours for new or transferred domain names to start working, so please come check back later. If you’re still having the same error after 48 hours, please contact your web hosting provider.”}

    The above makes no sense since there have been no DNS changes for ages.

    We’ve spent days trying to find a cause and, at this point, it feels like an issue at the WordPress Jetpack server.

    Ideas?

    Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

    Alright, that’s good. Do not hesitate to reply to our last email if you still experience issues, and we’ll take another look!

    Thanks.
