    HI,

I am using your plugin to send emails through smtp.gmail.com (we have a nonprofit accouns for Google Workspace so we should be able to send 2000 messages per day).

When I send a test email everything works correctly and we are receiving emails throught our contact form without issues.

We are also sending our newsletter (using Noptin plugin) through smtp, once a month with new psots. After sending about 60 emails to our subscribers we suddenly get the following error message for all other subscribers:

“Communication Error [334] – make sure the Envelope From email is the same account used to create the Client ID.”

If I then send a test email, everything still seems to work correctly.

I have oauth setup using the available documentation, the publishing status in Api credentials is set to ‘in production’, the ‘from email’ is setup correctly and ‘Prevent plugins and themes from changing this’ is checked.

Any ideas whats causing this issue?

    Hi,

    Hope you are doing well.

Goto: Post SMTP -> Settings -> Message -> Email Address (Check on Prevent plugins and themes from changing this) and then test and let me know.

    Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. Those options were already checked when the error occurred.

Please share the Email log page screen shot, I need to see Failed email status and details.

I switched to Microsoft 365 smtp instead of Google smtp and because this is only available with a paid extension in Post SMTP when using oAuth I switched to Fluent SMTP where it is free. I will try my luck with that plugin for now.

I will mark this issue as resolved since no further support is needed.
