    Hi,

I have a problem with the encoding of email addresses on the website https://voetencentrumflipse.nl/. There is an address in the footer that is now blurred, but I can’t get rid of it despite the setting being turned off. How can I solve this?

    See:

By now, Phones encoding are Off, Emails encoding are Off, Current Obfuscation mode are Disabled. Use Advanced settings to tune the encoding.

    Best regards,
    Frans

    Hello @ifranl,

Most likely this is due to the cache solution on your site. Try clearing all cache and then rechecking this issue.

    Did it help you?

Unfortunately, that doesn’t provide a solution because no caching tool is active. I have the option:

    Complete deactivation
Leave no traces in the system after deactivation.

Set and the plugin deactivated, but the email address remains blurred. The strange thing is that the email address on the homepage is blurred, while on other pages it is normally visible, while there is only 1 footer page for the entire site.

    Are there any other options?

I have also tried different browsers, Safari, FireFox, Chrome and Opera, but everywhere the address on the homepage is blurry.

If after disabling our plugin you still see blur, then it is probably a problem with the cache. Perhaps you have a cache on your hosting. Could you ask your hosting support about this?

No, there is no server cache. I have reactivated and configured the plugin again. Because it was only blurred on the homepage and not on other pages (despite there being only 1 footer page), I saved the homepage again and after this the e-mail address was readable again… very strange.

    But thanks voor quick response.

Thanks, but as I wrote, the problem has now been resolved by saving the homepage again. The footer page on the underlying pages was not a problem. Nevertheless, thanks you for your response and should it happen again, I will let you know so you can investigate the phenomenon if you want to.

    Best regards,
