Hi @ss_minnow, thanks for getting in touch.
I have seen overly sensitive spam filters with hosting plans fail and that sounds like what’s happening here as the server is keeping hold of them rather than delivering. I’ve not seen Gmail outright reject an attempt to send emails their way but rather deal with them when they arrive. You should be able to configure your email server’s mail handler to always allow messages based on a rule, such as always allow from wordpress @ yoursite . com, or always allow subject lines containing the word “Wordfence” as two examples that might help. Your host may need to assist if you’re unsure how to modify that from your control panel.
If they’re hitting the spam box after the mail server has processed them, such as when you POP/SMTP deliver to another inbox such as Gmail, you should just be able to add the email address to your address book so it’s considered a safe sender in future.
If none of that seems to help, you could change Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > Where to Email Alerts to an alternative address to see if they’re handled any differently.
Let us know how you get on,
Peter.
Thanks Peter. The message says:

Since I’m on a shared server and don’t have access to all of the configuration options, I’ll try the latter and see how it goes.
Thanks @ss_minnow, let us know how your tests go.
The message above suggests you need to add Google Workspace SPF and DKIM records to your domain name. Your host may be able to help with this. Refer to this help article more info: https://support.google.com/a/answer/33786
Thanks,
Peter.
