I’ve got a Contact form set up with a drop down menu with options that are routed to several different email addresses.

These are working- partly. The intended recipients are getting the enquiry emails from the site.

However there might be a problem: one of the recipients has replied to the enquirer, and the reply has come to me, site admin. I don’t know whether it has also gone to the enquirer. Fortunately the enquiry is of a very general nature and so the privacy breach is minor, but it’s important that the email routing be configured correctly.

How do I set up this contact form so that when the contacted recipient hits ‘Reply’ the email will go to the enquirer who filled out the contact form on the site, and not the website administrator?

In the ‘Advanced’ section of the relevant field in ‘Email Notifications’, is it {email-1}, the enquirer’s email, specified in ‘Reply-to Email’?

    Thanks in advance for help.

Since the original post can’t be edited, here’s some extra info.

The problem is that the enquirer’s email address doesn’t appear in the ‘From’ field in emails sent via the contact form. Instead, the ‘From’ field has the admin email address in it, so that if the contacted recipient hits ‘Reply’, the reply email won’t reach the enquirer who filled in the Contact form.

How can this email routing be set up so that the enquirer’s email addresses appear in ‘From’?

{email-1} had a typo; wrongly input as {Email-1}.

    It’s working now.
