Email Delivery Problems

I have a site using custom contact forms — I have discovered that with the cleantalk contact form protection enabled, the emails aren’t being delivered to the recipient, even though they are showing as “Approved” in the CleanTalk logs. I can see from my server logs that the contacts shown as “Approved” are not actually being transmitted through the server — so I am assuming there must be some sort of glitch. The forms work & email is delivered if I disable the protection for custom forms — but I need to protect the users on this site from receiving spam email through the contact forms.
