edit button doesn’t appear

    Hello! I want to make some changes to my webpage and I can’t find the “edit” button any more. Some weeks ago, I could easily edit the pages directly on the site by clicking on “edit “. This option (this word) does not appear any more.
    Furthermore, as I couldn’t use the previous option, I was able to edit my pages accessing the left panel (“Pages”) on the wordpress site, but then any change I make is not reflected on my webpage, even after updating it.
    I have updated all the plugins and nothing has changed.

    If changes are not visible in the frontend, it may be due to a cache plugin. You are obviously using LiteSpeed. Disable it and test it then.

    About the edit button above the page: but you see the black admin bar when you are logged in on the page?

    I disabled LiteSpeed but nothing changed.

    I’m not sure about what you mean in your second comment. When I’m logged in on the wordpress page, I do see the black admin bar. When I go to “appearance” and then “customize” I see a pencil icon to edit the menu on my webpage, but some time ago the word “edit” appeared at the end of paragraphs or text so I could edit that very easily but now it doesn’t.
    Now, in order to edit text, I click on left panel “Pages” and then “All Pages” but then those changes are not visible in the frontend.

    You’re talking about editing text via the Customizer? This is supported by some themes, but it is not a WordPress standard. Normally you should edit content of your pages under Pages or Posts.

    Ok, thanks! I can edit my pages under Pages now but I still can’t see the changes in the frontend. I will keep on deactivacting other plugins to see what happens.
