Draw Table

It was an intentional decision to keep the editor simpler. Tables just aren’t that common any more.

You can expand the editor to use all of TinyMCE (the Visual editor’s core), including its table builder, with https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/ or do even more with https://wordpress.org/plugins/tablepress/

https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/ is the one I’ve used for that.
